Hey guys...As usual, it always takes one
of us FOREVER to post anything in this ole journal. Probably because I'M THE
ONLY ONE THAT EVER DOES! lol. Well, that will change soon. I promise. We have SO
much to talk about. I can tell you this though, if you wanna keep up with what
we're doing, then TWITTER, FACEBOOK, & MYSPACE is the best way to do
that...Seriously.
Okay, on to more exciting and sentimental news...One year ago today, we were
recording our song, "I'm Sorry", at Syncromesh Studios in Birmingham, AL with
producer Jason Elgin. We have certainly been busy since then, that's for sure.
In a year's time we've probably played over 100 dates since then, and have
recorded a bit more as well...GOD is moving, bottom line. Lives are being
changed, bodies are being healed, and Satan IS being stopped!!!
We were invited to do an acoustic performance and speak at the High School in
our hometown of Wagoner, Oklahoma, yesterday. We were so honored to be apart of
their weekly "Teens for Christ" meeting. We were so blessed to get some of the
testimonials of what happened while were there. So exciting to see what GOD is
doing isn't it!?

This is one of the classes we played for while we were
there...
So. On a side note, we've been having a blast on the road...We're playing here
and there. No tours have been announced thus far, but more are coming...You'll
have to catch us on our filler dates, we're playing about 10 of em a
month...Come see us!

So. I haven't been able to get on here and blog for you guys in awhile. Things have been crazy busy. We have been very busy launching The Pulse Movement. Things are going great with that...Just finished up 4 festivals in our home-state promoting the movement. GOD has a lot of things in the works right now. In fact, some of which we don't even know any of the details. We've just been told to hold tight and be patient. So that's what we're doing. haha. I believe good things are fixing to happen. I kinda feel like we are getting ready to gather our harvest. I mean, we've planted and planted, and planted some more for the past 3 years, and I just feel like the harvest is about ripe.
It's cool because GOD gave me a Word in Season around January this year, when it felt like we were in a really dry season...I was talking with our good friend Mattlock London, who at the time, also felt like he was in a dry season. Well, I began to speak to Matt over the phone and what I spoke I have held onto ever since. It was directed towards both of us. . .It was almost like GOD took over and began to uplift the both of us. I remember a few specific things that God was saying that night.
1. GOD said He was going to open doors like never before and send people to help those doors open. He said that if the men He spoke to, to help and get behind the vision, were going to stop what He had planned.....That it would not disrupt or delay what He wanted to be done, like it had in times past. I remember what I heard was almost like, if GOD wanted to use one and they wanted to let other things get in the way, He would swiftly remove and restore a new Window of Provision. MAN CAN'T STOP WHAT GOD HAS PLANNED!
2. I also remember the Spirit of God saying that when we find breakthrough, that it would be so swift and unexpected that many would see it as "OVERNIGHT SUCCESS". That's what He said. I've been holding onto that Word. Wow. I feel the Presence of God as I type. He said that MANY would see it as overnight success, but we would know better, for we have been in training for many years, for such a time as this. He said it HAD to happen FAST. There is no time for business as usual. What takes others 10 years to accomplish, will not take those who He is calling to do mighty works before His return. He said that time is short and we don't have the time that others before us have had to do what He called THEM to do. Make sense? I remember that I felt like He was saying that we are apart of the EXCEPTION. He said that people would say. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! Things like this just DON'T HAPPEN THIS WAY!" I knew instantly what He was saying through me that night, and honestly, we've already heard those words come to pass. However, it isn't the end of that.
3. GOD said to NEVER expect an end to
the blessings. Meaning: Don't think that since you have found tremendous
blessing that you have received all there is to receive. God said that it would
come in WAVES, and the waves would never stop. It would seem like, WOW, look
what GOD did right there! And then, we'd be saying it again, and again, and the
next day, and the day after that...IT NEVER STOPS!!!
4. FAVOR. Unmerited favor. I'm talking people who don't even know why they are
supposed to bless you are going to bless you. Divine Favor of God. People will
say, "I don't know why I am doing this, but I just feel like I am supposed to".
This is one of the key ways of how POINT #3 plays out. The Favor of God.
Those were the main points that I remember. I have held onto that Word ever since. It seemed like GOD was speaking so clearly to us that night. That was the first time I had ever spoke under that kind of unction. I believe I was prophesying. In fact, I know I was. It was like, the Mind of GOD had just dropped in my spirit and I spoke out under that unction of the Holy Spirit the things that were to happen. And I knew, that if we kept our hearts right and our minds renewed to the Word of God, that it would all happen...Sometimes with a battle, but the battle will be won with ease, if that makes sense.
I firmly believe that this is a word for many who KNOW that GOD is calling them to do great things and it just seems like PEOPLE keep MESSING IT UP! Take this word. It is for you. It is for us. It's for the chosen, for such a time as this.
Man. Didn't know I was going there when I started out writing this blog. Oh yeah. Don't roll your eyes and don't be a spectator. If you do, then you'll be one of the ones on the outside looking in. A year or so ago I had a vision of a train in a desert that flew by me, and as it flew by at a high speed, Jesus was standing there and looked at me. He didn't open His mouth and say audible words to me, but it was like His spirit was communicating with mine. In this time I knew that there would be Windows that would come, and we have to be ready to make the jump to latch on to the train. Many will stand by and be a spectator of the fast moving train, scared to make the jump, and will miss out on what GOD has in store. I remember that the train was in a desert. I believe that there is significance to that. I'm sure you know where I'm going with that.
Don't be the one who sits back because you don't understand why this train is coming, nor why it is moving so fast. You need to make the jump. Put yourself in the Word of God. Get into the Meat of the Word, because if you don't, then you stay carnal and the carnal mind is ALWAYS against what it doesn't understand.

Hey Guys. Well...What can I say, God just keeps blessing our socks off. He's been sending us people that are hooking up with our vision and getting behind what God has placed within us to do. It means the world to us when we hear someone tell us that they believe in what we are doing and want to help us fulfill the Call of God on our lives. We feel truly blessed to have all of you support. Honestly, if you are reading this, THANK YOU. Normally the ones who email us and tell us that they read our blog about this, or the one about that, are people who are true friends, and we LOVE YOU SO MUCH! You know who you are... :) Now, I DO realize that some are just spectators sitting back and snarling as they read our journal, but we don't do what we do for them...We don't leave our family for weeks at a time for the people who are just waiting for us to fail. We do it to advance the Kingdom of God. Therefore, everything we put our hands to SHALL PROSPER...And when we prosper, you'll know about it. :)
As most of you know, we flew out on February 25th into Orlando, Florida. We had an outstanding 3 weeks in Sebastian, Florida with our friends at Crossroads Christian Fellowship. Those people are so awesome and are just like family to us. Let it be known on this day, that Sebastian, Florida is Consumed by Fire's 2nd Home. haha. Seriously. It is. :) We were able to be involved in alot of great ministry in those 3 weeks. We hooked up with Youth For Christ and we were able to go into schools with some of the YFC Leaders in the area. It was SWEET. We met alot of cool people in the schools.
There was so much that we did while we were gone, and it would take entirely way too long to tell you everything that happened, but bottom line, people were ministered to...Spirit, Soul, and Body. It's pretty cool to see what God can do when you just let Him BE GOD. We flew back home on March 18th. Our plane was delayed, we were tired, but what are ya gonna do? ha. From TIA, we said our goodbyes to Ervin and headed back to Wagoner, OK where we'd be back in time to lead worship at our home church.
Anyways, we're back now. We miss our friends in Florida, but we know we'll
see em all again soon...
God is doing amazing things right now and people are starting to hear about our
ministry more and more, therefore, more dates are coming in. I'm sorry to all of
you who have asked us to come in on certain dates and they were already filled.
To prevent this, please send in your booking requests at least one month prior
to your event. As for all of you who sent in your requests TWO months in
advance. SORRY AGAIN. :) We really want to see you guys though, so don't give
up! Keep trying to bring us in! We'll find a date for you, I PROMISE! haha.
We're busy, but not nearly as busy as we need to be! SO PLEASE, keep sending us
those dates! :)
Well, I better hop off o here. I have already written a novel. lol. Just wanted to keep y'all updated. It looks like it's been TWO whole months since I've written in the Journal....SORRY. :) I'll talk to you guys soon.

So...We are making great positive moves with the band this new year. We have been planning out our 09 schedule and we are really hoping to branch out and see more of you guys this year on the road. We've already posted a few new dates on our calendar for this year. We'll be playing at a few festivals as well, so keep an eye out for those.
Let's see...What else? Ummmmm...Been perfecting our music and getting ready to get back in the studio. Not really sure when that will be yet, but we pray that it will be soon. We've been putting our ideas down in two different studios here in Oklahoma just to get a feel of what we need to do to them before reeeeeeeeally recording them in Alabama with our genius producer. :) Right now, we're really hoping that those that are able, will sow into this ministry and help us do what God has called us to do with this album.
We're excited to see what God is doing and are totally stoked to keep meeting amazing new people everyday! We've been so busy with just keeping up with all of your emails everyday that we barely have time to do anything else!!! haha. So, if you're still waiting for a response from us, we're sorry and you'll be hearing from us soon! :) Thanks to all of you for telling your friends and family about us. We'll be posting a new demo on myspace soon for all of you to check out. You'll definitely wanna check it out while you can though because we're only leaving our demos online for short periods of time...
Anyways, SOOO much more going on that we just can't talk about right now, but hopefully you'll find out soon enough! :)
Love you guys SO SO MUCH! More than you even know. Not even kidding. Think we're full o bologna? Try us. You can talk to us all day long if you want to and we'll never get tired of it! We love you SO very much...Remember who loves you more though. Jesus can do more for you than even we can. We're NOTHING without the Love of Jesus, and we're nothing without the Word of God. Get in the Word, find a good local church, and start learning what God has for you and your life! It's so much more than the World System has to offer you...Ephesians 3:20 says that my God is able and willing to do exceedingly, abundantly, above ALL we can ask or imagine. 1 John 4:4 tells me that "Greater is He who is in me, than he that is in the world system." Jeremiah 29:11 tells me that God has plans to prosper me and not harm me, plans of peace and so much more, a plan to give me a desired expected end. Joshua 1:8 informs me that if I meditate on the Word day and night that I will find good success! And when I get down and lose focus, I have a promise that He will never leave me of forsake me. I have a promise in Hebrews 13:8 that tells me that Jesus Christ is the same YESTERDAY, TODAY, and FOREVER, so when the World is up and down everyday and I have no one to turn to, I have Him...And as Romans 8:31 so brilliantly exclaims, IF GOD IS FOR ME, WHO CAN BE AGAINST ME?
He is my source...He is my love...He is my life...My everything...My reason for breathing...He is....MY JESUS.

Hey guys!
So. I thought I would say wassup to everyone out there that reads this thang.
So, WASSUP!!! We are keeping busy with things. Gettin' ready to head to Florida
this month. Gonna be playing a bunch of shows in that area in Mid-February, so
be looking out for those on our schedule. Let's see, what else can I update you
on...hummm.
Oh yeah! We're waiting on the pictures from our 09 photo shoot right now. We're getting them back tonight and I'm looking forward to seeing how they turned out. I'm sure all o you katz will like em...Well, I guess it's about that time...I just thought I'd holla atchya'll and say hey. So. I'll talk to ya's later!

Hey everybody,
Jordan here. Well, we've pretty much
wrapped up all of our Christmas tour for the most part, but we still have one
more Christmas Appearance left on the schedule that I need to tell you about! Do
you guys remember that movie that our music from The E.P.was featured in? Well,
it's in select theaters right now and we will be making a public appearance at
one of the screenings close to home on December 21st, which is, holy moley,
that's tomorrow! lol. Anyways, we'll be there along with Arlis Moon playing a
couple of songs after the movie. If you are near Bartlesville, OK, then come one
out. We'll be chilling afterwards, signing and taking pictures with all of you
wonderful people. Can't wait to see all of you that come out! Check out

Oh yeah! We'll have the remaining copies of "The Perfect Christmas" ep at
the screening, so be sure to plan on picking up a copy!
So anyways...Yeah. We've almost finished up this Christmas tour, which btw has
been a blast! We've had a great time sharing the stage with Arlis Moon, Our
Darkest Hour, and TTG. It's been fun. We've met a lot of cool people and we hope
to see them all again soon! I do have to say that, for all of you Consumed by
Fire fans out there that are emailing us about how you're wanting to see us
LIVE, but we've never been to your part of the U.S., there is a simple solution
for this and YOU CAN HELP! All you need to do is talk to your Pastor/Youth
Pastor and let he/she know that there is an amazing band :) that would
LOVE to come and minister/perform at your church! NOW THERE! That's settled! lol.
Well, what else is new??? hummmm...Oh
yeah! We're coming back to Florida in January and will be doing some shows along
that part of the East Coast all the way until late March/Early April. So.
Yippee! haha. We really ARE super stoked about this and we can't wait to shake
some hands and hug some necks when we get over there! :)
For all of you that have been anxious to hear about our studio efforts....Well,
we are reeeeeally hoping that we will be able to get back in the studio with
world class producer, Jason Elgin, in early 09 to get started on the rest of the
album. For now, just keep playing and listening to our single we released back
in November! Ya know, that song called, "I'm Sorry". :) And if ya want, I don't
guess it would hurt for you to call your radio stations and bug the heck out of
em about playing it! hehe. (seriously!) lol.
Well, I guess that's it for now. . .Consider yourselves "updated!" At least on
all the information that can be released at the present...

So yeah, we have been doing a complete and total makeover to the ole website the past couple of days and I must say, it cleans up nice. What? I don't think I used that phrase right. Sorry, I was just trying to impress you. Again, kinda confused. :)
So, how have you guys been doing out there? GOOD? I hope so. We've been good, thanks for asking...If you haven't seen or heard, we're getting ready to start a NEW CHRISTMAS TOUR soon and we'll be touring with Arlis Moon. He's an amazing songwriter/musician and we're honored to share the stage with him. We'll also be bringing Our Darkest Hour on select dates. They are an awesome band that you'll also love.
Anyways, alot of cool stuff going on for the band right now. I can't talk about much of it, but I can let you know that we're about to be releasing a CHRISTMAS ALBUM!!! I know right!? Who saw that coming with the whole Christmas Tour and everything!? lol. The album will feature 3 original Christmas songs from both Arlis Moon and ourselves, and it will also feature 4 Collaborative Familiar Christmas Songs.
It's gonna be awesome. So, be sure to pick that up when we put it up on our store! Well, I have to be going now, so keep in touch often because we love you...Very much!
